Fuselage mods part 3
Having completed the mods to the sides for an inverted fuselage, it's time to assemble. As with any project involving modification, I usually outsmart myself at least once and screw something up. Today I did it twice. Neither mistake was particularly bad but still annoying. Everything in place. Fort...

Fuselage mods part 2
OK. so now we tackle the saddle for the lower wing. Here's where the Box-o-balsa-scrap shines. Sometimes being a packrat comes in handy. ;) Every conceivable shape and thickness just waiting to be used. 20240130_095115.jpg First we fit the odd angle 20240130_094627.jpg Then we cut/sand that flush an...

Fuselage mods part 1
As a biplane, I have to invert the Littlest Stik fuselage as one would a Barnstormer to make it a low wing. Littlest BipeStik
After realizing the challenges of my other idea, I decided to pursue a project that I had actually prepared for - a biplane based upon the Littlest Stik. Last year at Fall S.M.A.L.L. I purchased a Littlest Stik kit and and extra wing kit for it. When I told Doug my plan for it, he included a set of ...

Re: the Sky Falcon Jr. Tiger 250
Well, after reviewing requirements for wing spacing and how that would affect fuselage shape, etc, I have decided to shelve this project for another time.

the Sky Falcon Jr. Tiger 250
This will be my first scratch build without any sort of plans, instructions, or coaching so please be gentle. ;) My plan is to build a biplane with two complete WN wings - one from a Jr. Falcon 250 and one from a Sky Tiger 250. This thread will chronicle my progress and any success/failure. Our stor...

Re: Semi-Symmetrical Wing build guide
you correctly identified the center ribs. The reason one has more holes than the other is for when you go to glue them to each other to join the wing halves. The cutout for the center spar brace ideally should be left for strength until the wing halves are completed and ready to join. As you can see...

Re: How about and EDF kit?
Der Volksjaeger was actually a very clever design for the time period. Yeah, it had problems but still... thank goodness they didn't produce more of those sooner.

Re: How about and EDF kit?
I keep waiting for someone to make the "F86ish" into an EDF but no one, so far as I know, has done it yet. Perhaps you can be the first!
