Glh maiden!

Just a quick post to say thanks. Today I maidened my just-finished (literally last night) GLH with the hot rod power pack at the VRCS spirit of Selinsgrove event in Endicott, NY.

I was nervous that it would be a handful and so waited until the very end of the day and had someone hand launch it for me over the tall grass. But it came out of his hands dead straight and the indicated control throws gave me the right amount of authority. It was a hoot! And although fast, it needed almost no trim and it flew predictably and I felt immediately comfortable with it. It makes a nice complement to the sedate WN jr falcon that I also usually fly at these events. Awesome stuff, thanks WN!

And one more update:

Since the maiden went well, I finished the model off with some vinyl decals!
