How about and EDF kit?

I have been building a kit using a 30mm EDF like this one:

They come in a variety of KV ratings and should yield a T/W ratio of about .8 or so which should give very lively performance.

The basic WN airframe should be fairly easy to convert to a sorta-scale HE-162. Although it looks a bit strange, apparently it flew quite well.

I keep waiting for someone to make the "F86ish" into an EDF but no one, so far as I know, has done it yet. Perhaps you can be the first!

Der Volksjaeger was actually a very clever design for the time period. Yeah, it had problems but still... thank goodness they didn't produce more of those sooner.
